![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All i know is it is connected to the network, but can't be used to connect to websites.Īlso, as this is an old thread, i may go ahead and start a new one. I’ve uninstalled Wireshark and re-installed, the problem did not go away. The Capture Interfaces dialog box opens and no adapter entries are displayed in any of the three tab windows or when I select the Manage Interfaces button in the lower right corner of the dialog box. I'm not a network guy so i'm not sure of the correct terminology to use. In Wireshark I opened the ‘Capture’ menu and selected ‘Options’. It's clearly connected to the network, but the browser (Chromium) doesn't connect to websites. I can ping the Pi from a remote terminal. But when i right click on the arrows, i get a new graphic with "No wireless interfaces found". When i hover over the graphic, i see the same 3 lines of information pop up as when i'm logged in as pi (each line starts with an alpha numeric code, then has line1:Link is down line2:Associated with line3:Configured as .yyy). ![]() Now, in the upper right hand corner of the desktop, instead of the traditional wifi-looking graphic (arches in increasing size showing "strength" by shading arches darker) i only get up and down arrows, both shaded dark blue. With user carson, after first created, i had no problems with wifi or internet. However, i have created a new user, carson. For the user pi, i have no problems with the wifi connection nor access to the internet. I don't have a wpa_ fileĪlso, I'm using a Pi 2B with a USB wifi dongle. Under localisation, change WLAN country to your location ![]()
